Graphics - Not the Best that has been around simple as that. Decent amount of Pop in threw the whole game weather it is outside the wasteland or inside some place. The textures are on the low side while.

Sound - The music for this is just like Bethesdas previous game(Oblivion). Very Epic in scale and fits the game well. The voices are clear and sound good. Gun fire is repeatative, weather it is a machine gun or a laser rifle.

Controls - They are on the simple side. Takes maybe 10-15 mins to thoroughly get the controls and after that its like riding a bike.

Game play - This is the part where the game gets points off in my book. At the start of the game it is HARD as your skills suck so you miss 90% of the shots you shoot. By the time I was level 7 I never missed a shot and don't miss. I have so much money in the game I don't need to worry about anything. Instead of having ammo weigh anything they have it weigh 0 for all ammo. So you can carry any amount and not have to worry about going back to town till you get low, but getting low takes a REALLY REALLY LOW skill or you just are wasting a lot of shots.

Online - None

Overall - 8/10

Although the game is multi platform Bethesda could have done more bug testing. The DLC that was release about 10 months ago for the 360 was just released on the PSN and the GOTY edition it still is bugged as can be. Playing threw Broken Steel I had to hard reset 3-4 times. Over all if you are looking for something that you can pick up play and then set down for a few weeks and pick it up again this fits the bill. I have 1 trophy before I get my plat for this game.

PostSubject: Operation Anchorage/Broken Steel(Spoilers)   Sat Oct 24, 2009 11:12 pm

Graphics - The Setting is in Alaska during the Chinese Occupation of Anchorage. So everything is WHITE. The wind blows the snow around although it isn't as defined as a game like Uncharted2. The views range from climbing up a crevasse to being on the open snowy plains blowing shit up.

Sound - The music and Voice acting are once again top notch. A few times their was words but no mouth movement.

Controls - Just like the original.

Game Play - Once again just like the Original game but with a twist. At the start of this mission you are stripped of everything as you are placed in the service of the US army. You have to complete 4 missions after you load into the pod.

I would recommend at least a play through from renting. I bought it on the store and then got it on disc when I bought the GOTY edition.

[/b]
Graphics - Same as the original, the dusty wasteland of the capital. It does take you to a few other places like an Air field that shows a MASSIVE explosion.

Sound - Explosions everywhere and all just as good as the original game.
Controls - Same as original.
Game Play - Over all this is a must buy for any fallout 3 fan. It raises the level cap from 20-30 and adds in 6 trophies for an extra 4-6 hrs of gameplay roughly.

Great review but for me, I was blown away by the graphics. I know they aren't cutting-edge, but c'mon, the map is HUGE. There are so many things to do, every building is pretty much accessible. Everything was done top-notch.

By the way, no reason to talk about SOUND / GRAPHICS for the addons. Like every other game, there won't be much of a difference, if not any.

PostSubject: The Pitt & Lookout Point   Sat Oct 31, 2009 4:25 pm

In the Pitt you travel to Pittsburgh and try to free the slaves/workers. In my play threw of the Pitt, I got all the trophies but 1 as there is a bug in it. The finding 100 Steel Ingots there are only 80 in the game. I've sent an email to Bethsada about it but nothing has been returned. 2 times my Ps3 locked up but it was not in consecutive times. over all

6/10 It is linear has a few choices but for the most part you only get 1 path.

In this one you travel to where I guess is New Jersey at the docks. You travel around the place and you will travel A LOT. In my play threw with in 5 mins every sit down I would have to turn power off from the back of my PS3. The whole Point Lookout is buggy. I got all the trophies but one again. Trying to find all the places on the map with out it locking the system up is impossible. I tried to save after locating a place but restarting my ps3 every 5 mins is very tiresome. Another bug that comes and goes is at times on the map you will see a unmarked place on your map but once you get close to it it will disappear and not show a map location marker, not sure if its a full glitch but I think it is. I ended up rushing the main quest to get the trophies and then saying fuck the rest of it.

4/10 Lots of options but lots of bugs.
