Graphics- Excelent - I still have PS2 versions & a 60gb Backwards compatible PS3 & have compared PS2 to PS3 remastered version & there is a huge differance, you'd almost think it was a early PS3 game. There are no jaggies or blurryness like PS2 version even with PS3's smoothing on except in some cutscenes, matter of fact playing the game acually looks better than most cutscenes.

Sound- Excelent - Just as i remembered, music really sets the mood of the game & enhances the experiance.

Controls- Excelent - Easy to do moves no complicated ones, easy to get 100+ hit combos.

Gameplay- Excelent - Mix of puzzles, fighting & platforming. Very intriging story & badd ass character that makes you feel like you are a badd ass your self. One of the best stories in a video game that i have had the pleasure to acually pay attention to witch i normally do not.

Online- Sadly No online.

Notes: Excelent game - was a must have on PS2 now a must have on PS3 - if you do not add this to your PS3 collection then your collection will be incomplete! If you never played GoW before witch i learned from some on my PSN list there are quite a few who never have then your in for a treat & if you have played it before then here is your chance to play it all over again & to enjoy it even more.

*Has Trophies* Both GoW I & GoW II have there own seperate trophies & there own Platinums - Thats Two games, Two Platinums in one Package

I own both for PS2 and with a compatible PS3, I have no real reason to purchase this. Besides the trophies of course, but that isn't worth $40.

God of War 3 now has my money awaiting it, thanks to you though pooky Wink

there is a reason to purchase this if you still got PS2 versions..... They look a hell of a lot better, even if there were no trophies i would have bought this just cause the graphics were remastered very nicely & looks beautiful almost like it was created when PS3 first came out & not for PS2

yeah this game is AMAZING i just got GOW1 platinum and im working now with GOW2, nice review pook, 10/10 thats what im talking about

I may get this as I've never played any of them. However, how hard are they? I hated Heavenly Sword because it got to a point where it was too hard and frustrating (one of the last bosses, the one in the cage) and I gave up trying. Don't want to do that with this one. So how hard is it?

Big D - the games are not hard at all if you lay on easy. The hardest part of this gae is the Challenge of the gods but those are not required to play, there only required to get Platinum trophy. You need to play because they are excelent games & a shame not to play.
