Instead of having multiple posts about Uncharted 2 I figured to have 1 thread with every ones comments on it?




Graphics - Just amazing is all I have to say about them. The snow on the ground and falling looks so real it isn't even funny. The animations for characters shows that Naughty Dog has taken their time and tuned the engine even more since Uncharted 1. There are some down sides to the visuals too. At times the graphics and physics clash so you will get a slide when you try to jump to an area not meant to. But the game is visually amazing none the less.

Sound - Another GREAT aspect of the game. They have the same composer from the first game and the music for levels fits perfectly. Although I don't think it supports custom soundtracks online to me it isn't needed with the score they choose.

Controls - This is the part that I hate cause it's where the game takes a hit. The controls have been changed since the first one. At times for the better but also at times for the worse. My main gripe with the game is the camera going from 3rd person to being fixed and the controls change without warning. Anyone who has played the game till you get to the Blades in the under city should understand the fixed camera will cause deaths if you don't take your time. I also hate how they made the L2 button Grenade instead of first person view. Now I have to pull the gun just to look at stuff with a zoom.

GamePlay - The same as the first one. At times it is easy at times it is hard. The addition of multiplayer was a very welcome addition. Once again the animations for characters wither player or AI are just amazing. I've had a few guys run into walls and bounce off them only to bounce into my bullet fire. EDIT: I forgot to mention does anyone else have a hard time getting Drake to jump right? I am seeing that he is grab happy and doesn't like to skip any of the hand holds on climbs?

Online - I have not played the online componet other then the beta ,but even from the open beta it was GREAT. The Coop has me really wanting to get a team together and get threw it for the trophy if anyone is interested add me and we will only need a third person.(NotSoSilent)

OVERALL - 9.5

A few minor things that are there but only if you look for them. The controls are just my preference and hard points but I still recommend that everyone at least rent if not BUY this game.

one last post... people need to learn Over rated does not mean hated. uncharted has a good story, decent graphics and so one... but its still overrated.
